A smoothie is a great snack or quick meal, particularly when we are looking for more energy and protein. Here is a quick smoothie with a lovely ice cream type texture. The cacao powder adds a decadent chocolate flavour.
Ingredients
¼ cup frozen or fresh (ice cold) berry pieces
1 small fresh or frozen banana
150ml cow’s milk or milk alternative
150ml natural yoghurt
2 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
Method
Add all ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker.
